The bundle is the complete set of documents the tribunal will use to make a decision about your appeal.
It includes all evidence from:
- you (parent or carer)
- the local authority (LA)
The tribunal only uses documents included in the bundle.
If something important is missing, it may not be considered — so checking it carefully is essential.
What may happen
- the tribunal instructs the LA to prepare the bundle by a certain date
- the LA collects all documents, including:
- your appeal form
- their response
- all evidence submitted by both sides
- the LA sends the bundle to you and to the tribunal
- you shoud check the bundle carefully to make sure everything is included and up to date
- if anything is missing or incorrect, you must tell the LA and tribunal straight away
